Whenever the rainbow appears in the clouds, I will see it and remember the everlasting covenant between God and all living creatures of every kind on the earth." Genesis 9:13

Sorry

I tried to post more last night and blogger wasn't working.  I am very tired from the new medication.  It doesn't make me extremely sleepy like most antipsychotics do at first, but I also just feel very lazy.  It's not helping anxiety much as of yet, but that may come as this is a slower med and won't be at a stable level until next Monday.  And I started on a half of the lowest dose so full effects may be yet to come.

It was funny earlier; I was starting to email Dr. Brain to say that it wasn't keeping me very calm and that my sleep was a lot worse last night and was it possible to go up to the next dose now, even though I was pretty certain she'd say no between the risk of akasthesia being pretty high (11-15% depending on dose) and her having not used this before and there being no research on its use with bipolar patients. Then I realized I have no idea what time I fell asleep.  Which means it was probably  much, much earlier than other nights lately.  I remember taking meds about 8:45.  I also remember being awake about 10:30 because I got a snack.  As far as I can tell I immediately fell asleep after that.  I haven't actually gone to sleep at bedtime in so long I can't remember it.  So that is a hopeful sign.

We'll see how things go and I'll write more later if I can.  If not just know I'm probably sleeping.  Tomorrow is a big day with a trip to see Dr. Mind, labs, and a run into Target that hopefully won't kill me with stimulation.

Jen, thanks for the news. I'm so glad to hear that you're getting some much needed rest. I hope it fuels you for your busy day tomorrow. May you be encouraged by your visit with dear Dr. Mind. I'm praying you feel a special sense that God is on your side!

((((hugs)))) Michal

Romans 8:30-32
Amplified Bible

And those whom He thus foreordained, He also called; and those whom He called, He also justified (acquitted, made righteous, putting them into right standing with Himself). And those whom He justified, He also glorified [raising them to a heavenly dignity and condition or state of being].

What then shall we say to [all] this? If God is for us, who [can be] against us? [Who can be our foe, if God is on our side?]
He who did not withhold or spare [even] His own Son but gave Him up for us all, will He not also with Him freely and graciously give us all [other] things?
