A year ago there was no indication that I was going to be facing any of this. Working is absolutely not an option right now; there is no way. Yet if I am approved effective the date that I went on disability through work I'll have spent about 1/3 of my backpay/future pay just on insurance, and this is not good insurance. This is insurance that makes me cringe knowing I have to go see Dr. Body tomorrow for my horribly sore throat because it will be expensive and meds will be out of pocket or samples because I don't have COBRA in place yet (they've been paid but must be processing) so essentially I'm uninsured and then can re-submit later. <br /><br />This is a terrible situation to be in and yet it's usually sick people who need disability....Just Me Jenhttp://www.masterofirony.blogspot.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21050713.post-16744759801750556432012-03-14T21:20:04.573-04:002012-03-14T21:20:04.573-04:00I have a lot of mixed feelings about "Obamaca...I have a lot of mixed feelings about "Obamacare" but from a personal point of view, if it doesn't get overturned, it will be life changing.
