I just tried to apply for a program that offers assistance with the expensive meds I take. One problem: I can't apply. Why? Because it refuses to believe my income is $0.00. But it is.......
Ugh.

- Over the years I have noticed that when I have the least hope a rainbow appears. Rainbows are a wonderful combination of beauty, hope, happiness and rain, the product of ugly grey clouds that hide the beauty of the sky. The beauty that is a rainbow can only come with the presence of both rain and sun. Such is life with bipolar disorder. Maybe the program will believe you if you say your income is a few bucks.
It's amazing to me that you can focus enough to do all this paperwork!
I'm just taking a quick moment to sit on my butt after walking for a couple hours. I was trying to memorize muscles for a midterm on Tuesday. The snowy Cascade mountains were gorgeous in the pink light of the setting sun and later the full moon was beautiful as clouds cleared. The weather has been in the 60's for a couple days although I needed a warm coat at this time of day.
I know the hospital is not a country club but the annoyances seem such a small price to pay for your safety! It also doesn't seem that you've been there all that much when you consider the tremendous efforts you've made to manage on your own.
Good job on making your home a safe haven! Those are such good words to hear. It's very encouraging to hear that you've had some rest. I hope it's a trend!
